I have extensively written about food options for solo and budget travelers. Lounges are ideal for those arriving at the airport early with flights scheduled later in the morning, afternoon, or evening. They provide a great opportunity to relax and savor quality food and drinks in a more relaxed atmosphere. During a recent business trip, I decided to test this idea by visiting the Escape Lounge at Bradley International Airport. Would it live up to my expectations or fall short?

As of August 2025, the Escape Lounge at Bradley International Airport is currently undergoing an extensive renovation (maybe they read my review!), and should be reopened later in Fall 2025. For now, they are offering a "pop up" temporary home near Gate 21 that is open from 5am to 8pm daily. I recommend you skip it and wait until the renovated location opens, as it offers a very limited selection of food and beverages.
